Ed and Tania Tuttle, with Sacred Journeys Inc., have
facilitated Shamanic adventures to the Ecuadorian Andes and Amazon rainforest
since 1997. Guests are introduced to indigenous healing techniques through first
hand experiences with the plant medicines. Group s meet with highly respected
Shamans and participate in sacred ceremonies which promote transformational
events of self-awareness and personal growth. Before returning home travelers
may integrate their learning experiences by enjoying the beautiful Samai Center
spa and retreat located on the lovely Pacific coast of Ecuador.
Ed and Tania's purpose is to become a bridge between the worlds
of the South American Condor and the North American Eagle. Through Sacred Journeys,
Americans are introduced to Amazonian and Andean
healing techniques , and experiences with the Amazonian plant
teachers. Also they give presentations and workshops on
their efforts to continue a healing of the North American heart.
In 2002, they created the "Samai
Lodge SPA", a place dedicated to support the
spiritual, emotional, and physical healing of the earth and all her living
creatures . This center is located on the Pacific Coast of Ecuador , in the town
of San Jose. Here, guests can enjoy
sacred sites, shamanic healing, walking and hiking activities, quiet beaches,
horseback riding and magnificent views in earth honoring accommodations.

Ed Tuttle
  
Ed Tuttle has been on
a spiritual path for over 25 years, studying and
practicing Buddhist meditation, Christian mysticism and Shamanism. He has
studied with Zen masters, lived with Andean shamans and spent many nights deep
in the rain forest learning of the ancient
spiritual systems encoded in the shamans cosmology. Ed has a special sensitivity to
nature and facilitates the interaction with the timeless plant teachers on our
journeys into the rain forest and the Andes Mountains.

DON ESTEBAN TAMAYO
Tania Duran Tuttle is from the Andes Mountains of Ecuador. She has
studied for 9 years with Ecuadorian Shamans: "The Bird People" from the Andes
Mountains and the Ayahuasqueros (i-a-was-ker-oes) and Tabaqueros" from the
Amazon Rainforest. In her practice she includes ancient Andean and Amazonian
healing techniques, ceremonies, and rituals as well as shamanic Feng Shui and
tarot cards. She is also a journalist and an artist. Tania creates and organizes
the journeys in which she guides, translates, and assists in ceremonies.
