Las jorobadas despiertan la pasión

The majestic humpback whales was given it's name due to the fact that when he jumps over the sea his back arches. 

They migrate from Antarctica and arrive in Ecuador in June and stay through October. 

PUERTO LÓPEZ, MANABÍ
The Humpback whales arrive at the Ecuadorian coast through the cold waters of the South Pacific to mate and with their spectacular jumps and thrill anyone near. 

On this occasion, in Porto Lopez the official inauguration of the fourth world whale watching festival occurs where people can observe from the Isle of La Plata, an ideal location for this.
